In recent years, we have organised several Charity Flower Arranging Workshops to raise vital funds for local charitable causes that are close to our hearts.
With expert guidance from Sarah at the Floral Mill, our trusted florist, and the support of our community, we have collectively raised hundreds of pounds for two local charities:
Mentell
Mentell is a UK charity that offers safe and confidential group spaces for males aged 18 and over, allowing them to talk without fear of advice or judgment. If you think they could help you or someone you know, please do take a look at their website.
The Together Trust.
The Together Trust provides care, support, and education to children, adults, and families with complex health needs, as well as care-experienced individuals, all based in Cheadle.
During each Flower Arranging Workshop, we welcome 15 to 20 guests who learn the art of creating stunning floral arrangements, including vibrant seasonal wreaths and beautiful hand-tied bouquets.
We have made Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter Wreaths along with an Autumnal Hand-Tied Bouquet!
Guests enjoy a drink upon arrival and delicious snacks while creating their own floral masterpiece! All flowers, foliage, materials, and tools are provided.
We would like to extend our huge thanks to Sarah at The Floral Mill for co-hosting the event and sharing her passion and skills for flower arranging. We would also like to thank Cheadle Sports Club for generously donating their venue, and to Siobhan from Posh Butties for providing her delicious buffets. It truly is a collaborative effort!
We are very much looking forward to our next event, our Charity Christmas Wreath Making Workshop this November.
Taking place on Tuesday 17th November, at Cheadle Sports Club, from 7.00pm until 9.00pm, tickets are £45.00. This year, we will be supporting Beauty Banks, a UK charity working to end hygiene poverty by getting essential personal care and hygiene products into the hands of people who need them.
