13 Feb Our Memorial Services – keeping your loved one’s memory alive
From speaking with the families in our care, we know how important it is to keep the memory of their loved ones alive, to talk about them, and to share their memories.
For a number of years now, we have been honoured to be involved in the Forget Thee Not Memorial Service at Hazel Grove Baptist Church each November. This allows our families to have their loved one’s name read out and remembered at the service, which they can also choose to attend.
This beautiful service reminds us to take a moment, reflect over the year and remember all those we have loved and lost.
This year, we were privileged to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph at Cheadle Green during the Remembrance Parade. Our Funeral Director, Matt, attended, and we hope to do this again each year.
This year, for the first time, we will also hold a Summer Memorial Service with Cheadle Parish Church. Taking place on Saturday 21st June, time to be confirmed, families that we have served over the last 12 months are welcome to join us and have their loved one(s) remembered during this special service.
