Katie Hoult

Katie Hoult

Funeral Director

We are sad to announce that Katie Hoult, who runs our sister company, George Hills, will be leaving the company on the 17th of November. We thank her for hard work and dedication to every family that she has helped over the last 3 years and for setting up our first ever, and now well-established, Bereavement Group. We all wish her well for the future. Katie would like to add a few words:

‘Entering into the profession of funeral directing after losing my daughter Phoebe in 2016 was the best decision I ever made. Supporting bereaved families over the past few years has been the most rewarding role I will ever achieve, whilst also keeping Phoebe’s name alive. This has been a very tough decision for me, but I leave this role solely to be around more for my own family at this moment in time.

The bereavement group that I set up; I will treasure as one of my best moments in life. The support we have provided to bereaved families through something so simple still amazes me and I leave this profession knowing that families have gained comfort and support, even if just a little, and nothing quite beats that feeling.

Hopefully, this is ‘a see you soon’ and not a ‘goodbye’ as I like to believe I could return to my calling in the future.’
