Saying goodbye to our pets by Springfield Farm Pet Cremation

We understand that pets are cherished family members, and recognising the importance of a proper farewell, we reached out to Springfield Pet Cremation, a local business, to learn more about the services they offer.

At Springfield Farm Pet Cremation in Hazel Grove, our family have been caring for animals for decades.

What was once a dairy farm, is now home to a boarding cattery and pet crematorium.

While the cattery has been here for 30 years, the crematorium has been in operation for just under 4 years.

In that time, we have cared for many pets who have come to us from all corners of the North West.

We provide a compassionate service to each and every family who contact us in their time of need, offering support to them and offering the dignified care that their beloved family pet deserves.

When families choose to bring their pets to us, they are welcomed into our peaceful farewell room. This is a place where they can discuss their cremation wishes with us – for example, what urn or casket they would like their pet’s ashes to be placed into and whether they would like any additional keepsakes, like our personalised paw prints, fur clippings and jewellery.

Families are then able to spend some time in private with their pet if they wish and then they can collect their pet to take home within 24-48 hours.

For some families, coming down to our farm is not always the right option for them, whether this be because of transportation issues, distance or just a personal preference – in this instance, we are happy to collect from their home or vet practice.

Once in our care, pets are treated with care and dignity on their final journey and can be reunited with their families in 24-72 hours.

Our family farm is home to a number of pets of our own – we have 2 dogs and 2 cats who live with us indoors, as well as Alpacas, goats, chickens and ducks that live on our farm too.
