During Free Wills Month, various charities offer members of the public the opportunity to have their simple Will written or updated free of charge by a professional, qualified solicitor.

A Will is a vital legal document that lets you control how your property, money, and personal belongings are distributed after you die.

If you die without a valid Will, your estate is subject to the strict and rigid laws of intestacy, meaning the state – not you – decides who inherits your assets.

Free Wills Month provides anyone who hasn’t yet got a Will with an invaluable opportunity to get your affairs in order!

Charities that take part in this month-long initative include Mind, NSPCC, Alzhiemers Society, Macmillan, Age UK, Salvation Army, Barnados, Dogs Trust, Stroke Association and many more.
